When does a pool or spa need a drain and clean?
When heavy debris, old water, algae, or surface buildup has gotten past what brushing and chemicals can fix. Send photos of the water and the surfaces and we can tell you whether draining is the right move, or whether a regular cleanup still has a shot.
Is draining always needed?
No. Some pools recover with cleaning, treatment, and filtration. We drain when the water or the surfaces are past that point, not because it is the first option on the list.
Do you pressure wash during a drain and clean?
Yes. Pressure washing is part of the drain and clean. After the pool is empty, we pressure wash the accessible surfaces. That is the usual way this service gets the walls, floor, and steps clean.
Do you also acid wash or chlorine wash?
Those are optional steps, not automatic. If the empty pool still has scale, stubborn residue, or a surface that pressure washing will not finish, we may recommend an acid wash or a chlorine wash. We tell you why before we do it.
Can you remove stains during a drain and clean?
Pressure washing, and an acid or chlorine wash when we recommend one, can improve a lot of staining. Results still depend on the surface, the stain, and how long it has been there. We will not promise every stain is gone.
Can draining a pool damage it?
Draining has to be planned around the pool type, the surface, the weather, and the site. That is why we look at the pool before recommending this service.
